So I was over at my parents the other day going through a few bins of my childhood stuff, and I found my Teddy Beddy Bear! This is the bear my mother held (squeezed?) while I was being born.
(Not an actual picture of mine -- too lazy)

Did you have a toy you would sleep well? Do you still have it?
I have both teddies that I had when I was both 1 year old and 7. I've had the first one for 23 years and the second one for 16 years now and, I still sleep with them n___n. They are old, sewed back together numerous times and quite flatened out but I loved them to pieces.
I used to sleep with a Sony Walkman as a kid because I needed something to distract my brain with so I could relax and sleep. Now I just use my phone, or go to sleep when I'm too tired to think.
I used to have stuffed animals too. And cats. Cats are awesome. I had a kitten when I was a teen that slept with its nose in my arm pit.
Ooooh, boy. I had probably a few billion stuffed animals as a kid, and slept with them on a rotation. I did have my favorites, though. One was a mouse in Christmas-y pyjamas, who we simply called 'The Mouse'. I still have him, and I got him... probably when I was five or six? So. It's been about 22-23 years. He's probably going to be an heirloom toy I'll pass onto my kids once I have them (because he's not ratty or filthy, despite his age).He sits in a corner of my room now.
When I was nine I made the decision that I was going to give up sleeping with a stuffed animal for Lent (whoo, being raised Catholic). Hardest 40 days of my young life. I kept trying to find loopholes. Like sleeping with "Baby Dish", my babydoll that I'd had since I was a year old (sadly, she's gone missing, probably in one of our moves), because 'she's not an animal'. Once, I tried getting away with sleeping with my Pain/Panic beanbags. Dad shot that down, since "they're demons, and Lent's a religious observance."
I have a few mini Squishables that sit on a chest at the foot of my bed, but that's the closest I get to sleeping with them.
I used to sleep with 95,454 stuffed animals as a kid. Surprised I didn't suffocate tbh
I still have one of them, a white seal, that I am keeping forever because it's extra special (I don't sleep with it anymore, but I still own it).
I've always been the kinda' person to hug something when I fall asleep, be it a stuffed animal, pillow, etc. Growing up I had several plushies that I liked to sleep with, but the one that sticks out most in my mind was a stuffed horse I named "Tweetsie," named for the theme park I got him at.
I usually slept in a pile of dog, wolf and Lion King plushies when I was little. But my absolute favorite -- my "velveteen rabbit" -- was a plush of Furball from Tiny Toon Adventures. He was very much "loved alive" and not only did I sleep with him I carried him everywhere. I still have him. He's been sewn up so many times I've lost count, his plastic nose fell off somewhere along the line, one of my dogs ate his left arm years ago and his eyes have been redrawn on but I still love him.
I slept with my beanie baby collection. Pounce was my right wing beeb. Still is, in some ways.
Mint Rabbit! One Easter my mom got me this stuffed white rabbit in a mint green ballerina costume. I named her Mint and she was my favourite for years and years. I still have her. She could use a little sewing up. If I was having a bad dream, or having a hard time sleeping, I'd imagine that Mint took me to Grandma Bunny's house and we would have mint tea.
oh how cute is that!! Ive never seen it before
I legit slept with stuffed animals surrounding me as a child, i thought that they would protect me, i had a gorilla, a small tan dog that i still have, a patchwork bunny that is missing an eye that i still have lol a bunch of random things!
It never had a name, was just the brown bear that my great-grandmother made for me when I was born. Silly thing was much too big for a newborn but over the years I grew into it and for 47 years now it's been part of my life. When the daughter of a friend of mine was having an anxiety-attack/breakdown, I loaned her brown bear to take to the recovery center. It was about like pulling teeth to eventually get it back from her!
My father got me a tiny patchwork linen cat when I was born and I'm told she was in my crib for most of my first year. She's not even seven inches tall and has this tiny little sun bonnet with tiny blue ribbons.
Nearly 27 years later, she's been relegated to a place of honor up with my Assassin's Creed figures.

His fur isn't as nice as this anymore but he's still very much loved.
I used to sleep with a Snuggle brand bear that my grandmother gave to me, but I removed him from my bed to keep him from getting torn up.[/font]
I also slept with a CD player, but a plush is something I've never outgrown. I started with a Dragonite named Amy Tangent (RIP). Now I'm clutching a "giant" elephant dubbed Zamaradi Moyo. I too, slept with an army of action figures around my bed, to keep the nightmares at bay. It worked too well, I don't dream at all.
A little brown dog called Wautzi - he's still at my parents place =) Now I sleep with a giant shark plushie...
human armpits, to cats, smell similar to mother cats when they're nursing. my cat goes bonkers over the pits of my shirts after hard work days. cats are so goofy!
I'm too lazy to take a picture, but when I was 9, my uncle bought a gas station stuffed wolf for me for christmas. I'm going to be 30 in 11 days and I still sleep with that wolf (and I'm married--he says that Cyote (the wolf's name) has been grandfathered into our relationship lol).
I slept with a million stuffed animals because I thought if I left one out it would feel sad and lonely. :(
And no shame, I am 26 and still sleep with my beanie baby Snip. It's probably been about 20 years!!! It was the first and only beanie baby that I took the tag off.
that is so funny! :D My husband will put Snip next to me while I'm sleeping if she gets away from me.

I only ever slept with one or two(excluding the first time I ever saw a horror movie-ALL my big stuffed animals were with me that night)(I was 18ish at the time) An old friend of mine would sleep with a bunch, though. I remember during the sleepovers we had sometimes they'd fall off her bed onto me. One time a monkey doll with a creepy little kid's face was hanging over the side staring down at me, and I couldn't turn it away cause it was under her arm or something.
